Vintage and Antique Linens by Em's Heart Antique Great Lakes Indian Beadwork Pink Epaulettes Item Number C14305 Great Lakes Indian beadwork was sold as souvenirs to tourists, as I understand it, and is extremely collectable as many pieces were one of a kind. These pieces are considered to be original American Indian folk art and are often very highly valued. These c.1910 epaulettes were never used but are in rough condition, though the beadwork is intact. The pair were joined together, probably stitched together for close to 100 years at the far right of each and thus, each has a wear hole in that spot. Age and dust aside, this pair represents more than a just a souvenir from a visit to the Great Lakes or Niagra Falls in 1910 and should be considered historically valuable. Offered in good to fair condition, as described, with beadwork intact as found. c.1910 6.5" X 4.5" Item Sold Pair of Great Lakes Indian souvenir epaulettes $65
