I hope you are as charmed as I am with these sweet Christmas stockings made from an antique Matelasse coverlet. It took me three years to put a scissor to the piece....I didn't do it lightly...so, as you can imagine, I feel quite attached to these little gems. They come from the classic, perky border that has a repeating poinsettia pattern (sooo perfect, don't you think?) which joins a contrasting border at the cuff. I could not resist putting my little label on each. After all, they needed a hanging loop...how convenient! But they are otherwise unadorned and await your special touch. Newly created from antique coverlet, c.1880's - 90's 7.5" X 9.25"
