Vintage Hand Embroidered Silk Tap Pants

Gorgeous hand embroidery and detailed styling on this vintage pair of pure silk tap pants takes me back to my childhood when boxes of "cast offs" from my much elder and beautifully attired cousin delighted my youthful "textile senses". This piece hales from a sophisticated estate of a half dozen Far East silk embroidered gowns and slips. Each is different and all will inspire you to a Joan Crawford moment or two if you are lucky enough to own one.
Pure silk hand embroidered tap pants are elegant and, well, quite silky too! The embroidery is impeccable as is the hand sewing of every seam. Closes with two buttons on one side, though one is missing. There are two small spots on a side, seen in a photo below, and a short loose section on a seam that can easily be stitched closed. Adorable...for the Shirley Temple in you...Offered as found in excellent condition, as described. c.1930's 30" waist 40" hips 14" long
