Lovely cream linen antique folded case for gloves is embroidered as such and adorned in grand society silk embroidery style with two framed roses, swirls and an artfully designed scalloped edge. The front and back panels are folded outward to form a prissy presentation case for a veeerrrry special pair of gloves....a tiny hole or two and a place where the seam has come apart (and can be repaired) are the only flaws. This would make an adorable little bolster pillow...really, imagine this situated just so on your favorite linen slip covered chair?! Oohh! Freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent condition as described and shown. c.1880 - 1900 6.5" X 18.5" folded.
