Antique Silk Chenille Embroidered Purse

Nearly perfect antique silk French purse is densely embroidered with chenille silk floss flowers and finished with a filigree and painted close and carved red cabochon clasp. The inside is original pink silk and includes the mirror (de-silvered but in otherwise excellent condition) and the change purse (minor wear to the outside, lined with white kid leather on the inside) that is still attached to the purse with it's original silver chain. OH MY!! If you are a collector, consider the very minor shattering at the folds near the close as evidence of authenticity. It is in otherwise near perfect shape and deserves a special place in your prettiest display. A personal identification tag on the inside tells us this once belonged to Rosa Miller of Chicago. Offered as found, in excellent condition, as described and shown. c.1900 - 1920's 6.5" X 9"
