Rare subject matter for the style, this embroidered antique society silk linen centerpiece is breathtaking to behold, indeed! Morning Glory vines are beautifully portrayed in all stages from bud to blossom to seed...and exquisitely at that. The layered scalloped edge is deeply embroidered in shades of green and Champaign floss that forms a lovely frame for the piece....very minor age is shown below and certainly can be ignored for it's beauty and rarity. Absolutely beautiful, freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent condition. c.1900 21" diameter
