Delightful three dimensional embroidered antique white work centerpiece depicts fanciful Bleeding Hearts in a wide border. Rickrack?? Yep! It's been around for over 100 years and was widely used in antiquity as a clever addition to lace work and embroidery as seen in this piece. White cotton satin is finished with deep layered scallops. This is a beautiful piece. Minor age will launder...a few pin holes, shown below, are forever. Offered as found, in excellent condition. c.1900 23.5"
