Lovely Tenerife lace surrounds a clear white linen centerpiece and two adjacent doilies. There is minor fraying on the lace and a few strings that were never trimmed when it was originally made. This sort of lace has a grand "wow" factor that would be difficult to suppress -- a few strings do not detract whatsoever. The linen is spotless...
