White Madeira Embroidered Linen Towel

Simple white on white embroidery is classically executed on this pretty vintage white linen towel. Probably the product of nimble Madeira fingers, the embroidery is expertly stitched, but the hems are machine run as if they were possibly done later, perhaps repaired? In any case, they are neat and fine..not a distraction or even a flaw in my estimation. The bottom hem is neatly drawn by hand. Freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent condition. c.1950's - 60's 14" X 19"
