Antique Linen Towel with Pulled Lace

Item Number F30807

Antique linen towel is crisp and white with pulled lace and scalloped hems.  Dubbed "poor man's lace" (also called punch work) during the period because it was easy to produce with just fabric, a needle, thread and a pointed tool.  A wee bit shabby with a thread or two along the hems....but spotless and worthy of use or display.  Freshly laundered and pressed, in good, useful condition.  c.1900 -- 1920's  14.5" X 21.25"
