Lovely white vintage linen towel is crisp, having never been laundered. An organdy insert with shadow embroidery is beautifully executed by hand, as are the hems. An original label and Gremio seal are still affixed to the piece. This seal is considered a sign of high quality and was affixed to Madeira linens prior to export after they passed a rigorous inspection. Only the best embroideries were given the seal. This piece is offered in excellent condition, as found. c.1950's 14" X 20"
