No German trousseau was complete without a set of sturdy and beautiful monogrammed kitchen linen towels. These are a fine vintage example from the 1930's. Today they find many uses in guest suites and kitchens. Though the "FD" monogram is virtually inconsequential it is a sweet reminder of the European custom of monogramming linens that were sent out to be laundered. The monogram ensured their safe return to the correct owner. Offered as found. These are substantial at 44" X 19".
