Large antique towels are whimsically monogrammed "FC" in an original style. The white linen is heavy weight and woven in a mixed damask pattern of Star flowers around the borders and a detailed trellis in the center field. The hand embroidered monogram is fabulous and steals the show with it 's curly cues....these make me smile! Rarely will you find a matched pair in such perfect shape....Excellent condition, freshly laundered and pressed. c.1880 - 1920 26" X 42.5"
