Large antique linen damask towels are neatly monogrammed in cross stitch "MEB" and finished with layered scalloped hems. The cream linen is medium weight and woven in a glorious pattern of blooming pansies and gracefully curved stems. Each letter of the hand embroidered monogram has a tiny rose -- ever-so adorable, don't you think?? One small faint age mark, shown below, is the only "flaw". Freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent condition. c.1890 - 1920 22.5" X 40"
