From England, this simple towel is elegantly monogrammed "DC" and topped with an elaborate coronet signifying this was commissioned for a member of the royal monarchy. How I wish I knew the provenance.... Elaborately woven linen is a wonder to behold....and the lace...OH the lace! Ok. I am getting a hot flash. (Mental note. Excessive exuberance results in hot flashes.) Dignified for your guest bath or your very own boudoir. Freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent condition. c.1900 26" X 53" including 4.5" lace on both ends
