Simply amazing and one of a kind antique linen embroidered show towel with elaborate silk embroidery is beautifully monogrammed "KT" or "KT" in pink and dark green. The amazing embroidery is executed in the Kensington style which is the Grandmother of "society silk".
Richly padded silk work is carefully shaded, which adds depth and realism to the elements. Age marks fall beneath the folded over panel, shown below, and don't need to be removed. Another age spot appears amidst the embroidery but does not distract from it's beauty....a work of art, not for the faint at heart....sit down before you open the box. Offered as found, in excellent clean antique condition, as shown and described. 19" X 48.5" including fringes
