Here is the hankie for the true collector! This adorable wedding hankie bears the tiniest monogram I have ever seen. Exquisitely crafted in the palest blue ("something blue"!), to appreciate it I had to look at it with my magnifying glass. This little hankie is made of the finest quality handkerchief linen and has three rows of drawn work and a hand worked hem. The names are embroidered in opposite corners. "Carl" is done in a simple script. "Else" is done in a stylized block with added floral detail. Spectacular! I believe this is from the thirties. There are a couple of smudges on the corner which you can see in one of the pictures. It comes to you "as found".
