Spectacular antique chemical lace and linen wedding hanky is Swiss made and bears an original label, "Made in Switzerland". Chemical lace was made to imitate the finer laces of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This was done to make beautiful lace pieces available to those who could not otherwise afford the more expensive hand laces. It is rare to find a chemical lace piece in perfect condition...and rarer to find one with a label. This beautiful piece is a collectable treasure, but your perfect bride will want to use it first... Offered as found in unused perfect condition. c.1900 - 1920's 12" square
