Finest creamy white antique linen wedding hanky is finished with pieced lace of the familiar Normandy style that includes hand made French Valenciennes lace. Inserts of batiste ribbon are embroidered by the Schiffli machine. Absolutely beautiful...the quintessential "something old" for your wedding day. An exceptional piece to carry (and photograph!!) and perfect for your happiest tears. This came to me unused and unlaundered. It has been laundered and pressed once by me. There are two teeny, tiny holes in the center of the linen where an original label was pinned for many years. c.1900 -- 1920's 14.5" square including lace flounce.
