Finest creamy white antique linen wedding hanky is elaborate but earthy with Arts and Crafts style hand embroidered coral and handmade French Valenciennes bobbin lace inserts. Central linen lawn forms the shape of a cross -- something I have often seen in matrimonial handkerchiefs of antiquity. Finished with handmade French Valenciennes bobbin lace ruffles. This unusual period piece came to me unused and unlaundered. It has been laundered and pressed once by me. c.1890 -- 1910's 14.5" square including lace.
