Mid 19th century antique Point de gaze needle lace wedding hanky is entirely hand made....a highly recognizable hand needle lace for its distinctive characteristics, this heavenly piece was monogrammed for a bride well over 120 years ago...Imagine! The hand embroidered monogram "WJ" is layered in the French style and was acquired from a prestigious estate in South America. Absolutely beautiful despite several holes in the lace and wear on the linen, shown below. Offered good to excellent condition, freshly (and lovingly) soaked and pressed. Mid-19th century to 1870's 14" square
