Vintage Linen Towels with Primary Stripes

Everyone knows that linen is best for drying glassware... These were surely intended for such a use before automation of dish washing took over and spoiled the fun. (Did I really say that?!) These beautiful striped towels date from an earlier time, likely the early 40's, and were never used. They are a medium weight "pure linen" as the labels say and retain their original polish and crispness. Ground is cream in color. The first photo is best for color representation. Perfect condition. 17.5" X 31"
