No German trousseau was complete without a set of sturdy and beautiful monogrammed kitchen linen towels. Use them as runners, valances or....kitchen towels! The monogram is a sweet reminder of the European custom of marking linens that were sent out to be laundered, ensuring their safe return to the correct owner. The creamy white linen damask is crisp, ends are machine sewn and include a hand sewn hanging tab. Freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent condition except for a speck and a small repair, shown below. c.1890 - 1900 44.5" X 17"
