No German trousseau was complete without a set of sturdy and beautiful monogrammed kitchen linen towels. Use them as runners, valances or....kitchen towels! The monogram is a sweet reminder of the European custom of marking linens that were sent out to be laundered, ensuring their safe return to the correct owner. The creamy linen damask is crisp and medium to heavy weight. Hems are machine sewn and include a hand sewn hanging tab at one end. Freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent unused condition. c.1890 - 1920 20" X 42"
