Artfully arranged collection of three dimensional sunflowers form the pattern "frame" on this fine example of an antique Irish Crochet lace cape collar. Interspersed throughout are numerous floral forms that are joined in a meaningfully random "garden" of exuberant, curly vines. Finely executed in white linen thread... Creamy white and spotless, in perfect condition, freshly laundered and gently pressed. c.1880 -- 1900 70" outside, 16" inside, 9" deep
