Amazing antique lace collar of Point d gaze is very detailed, made of several patterns and then pieced together. One side has a rough area with small breaks, shown below, but as you can see, these do not compromise the overall integrity of the piece.
Creamy white linen floss has a good bit of substance as the work is very fine but quite dense, giving it structure and depth. Extraordinary piece of hand lace work. Freshly laundered and pressed, in good condition as shown. 33" inside length not including ties, 4.75" deep
