Pure linen vintage mats and napkins set are made in France by the D. Porthault company of international renown. Classic scalloped hems finish each piece in contrasting green. A few of the edges are slightly faded, shown below, a "flaw" that is easily overlooked that doesn't stand out.
Each piece bears a pedigree label, "Made in France, D. Porthault, Lin 100% Flax"...whew! Let there be no doubt of their prestigious origin! Lovely, fresh green vine pattern. Freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent condition. c.1960's
