Fabulous vintage linen mats are defined by a sweet hand embroidered border of flowers in patriotic red, white and blue. Matching napkins are also embroidered and finished with a hand executed monogram, "EBL" in brilliant dark blue. The medium weight linen is ever-so white and crisp....a single small area of age, shown below, is the only issue of note, and it will launder. These are charmingly patriotic but not overly so that you couldn't use them any time you liked (you would, anyway, if you are like me :-). The matching runner was AWOL on the ironing board when these photos were taken. It is included in the set.
