Fine, hand woven antique "country" table linen set is quintessentially French with figural dogs and rabbits in a classic chase pose. Hand embroidered monogram "KT" is elaborate and large on the tablecloth and smaller on the napkins. The creamy white linen is substantial and detailed with an outer border swirls and arabesques surrounding an inner field of four figural panels that include trees, fences, dogs and rabbits.
The monogram is repeated on the matching tablecloth in one corner. The tablecloth is quite long and narrow, perfect for those amazing country style plank tables – quintessentially French. The hems are finished by hand. Several very small marks of age are the only flaws. Excellent condition, offered as found. c.1860’s – 80’s
