Huge and amazing medium to heavy white linen antique damask is fabulously embroidered with a Victorian "M" in one corner of each. The all over Shelley-esque chintz pattern suggests an appropriate tabletop pairing for these top quality napkins. The linen-satin hems are widely and neatly drawn all around with needle woven finished corners. The one-of-a-kind 4" monogram is heavily embellished in great Victorian style. One has an old faint stain that is hidden from view when the piece is displayed and will not be noticed. Another has a very faint 1/4" mark on the front that thankfully gets lost in the chintz...but a few speckles can be found on the hem. Jaw droppers...for an unforgettable first impression. Freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent condition. c.1880's - 90's 26" X 26"
