Medium weight white linen antique damask is fabulously embroidered with a Victorian "M" in one corner of each. The Normandy lace influence can be seen in the paneled and layered pattern of the damask. The elaborate one-of-a-kind monogram is heavily embellished in great Victorian style with shafts of wheat and seed stitching. There are several fine old darns and roughness along the selvedges, shown below, along with a tiny 'near hole' here and there. These will make an unforgettable first impression...you will be the envy of all your "M" friends... Freshly laundered and pressed, in good, usable condition as described. c.1880's 23" X 24" Goes well with Victorian "M" napkins, N32305 from the same era.
