Heavy European antique cream linen napkins are trimmed all around with handmade Italian needlelace. Each is expertly monogrammed in contrasting floss with a Gothic (appropriate!) "S" or "SS". The weighty linen is beautifully free of flaws...just a few broken brides in the lace, one shown below, among them all. A fabulous set for collectors of antique linen...but not too fussy to use. Freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent condition, as described. c.1900 - 1920's 12 napkins -- 16" X 17"
