Antique society silk embroidered pomegranates and plums on crisp creamy white linen are set between gorgeous floral vignettes on these perfect little cocktail napkins. This set matches the antique doilies D27706 and T26506 tea cloth and were originally used as tea napkins on a very prissy table.
Subtle shading that is a hallmark of the Kensington stitch and society silk embroidery is evident in every form on each of these antique society silk embroidered cocktail or tea napkins...Absolutely delectable....for the most sophisticated among us....really, can you resist? These were hand laundered by me in LeBlanc Linen Wash and are offered in excellent condition. c.1900 - 1920 6" round
