Monogrammed "P" with Fringes

Fringes are just fun....and these lovely antique napkins were never used (or abused!) so the fringes are particularly fun! Heavier weight woven linen is cream colored and will soak to a lighter shade. The borders are pulled around the damask pattern in a style I've seen in French and Czech table linen. These are likely French considering the style of the monogram (which is just amazing!) in combination with this pulled work. The set was never used and has some age...nothing scary and all will launder right out. But, oh! the fringes...really charming, even if you're not a "P"... Excellent condition as shown, offered as found. c.1880 - 1900 21" X 21.5" including 3" fringes
