Vintage French Alencon lace cocktail napkins are perfect so beautiful. Machine made Alencon lace is hand run with cordonnet to create the defined and highly identifiable style. These were part of a collection from a pair of well traveled spinster college professor sisters -- both with PhD's! -- who both also had a penchant for fine vintage and antique textiles. These are ecru but may soak to a lighter color. Offered as found, in excellent condition. c.1920's - 40's 6" round
