Euro Shams, Monogram "MS"

Fine wet spun antique linen shams are cool to the touch and ever-so drapey... Each is finished with a hand embroidered French rembourré style embroidered monogram, "MS". One has very small minor age marks, shown below and both are finished on the back with old shell buttons and hand sewn buttonholes. The linen is divinely soft to touch and creamy white. Embroidered trim at the edge was executed by hand. Freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent condition with very minor age, shown. c.1890 -- 1910's 25.5" X 27" not including embroidered trim.
