Stunning and large antique French Normandy lace boudoir pillow sham has a beautifully pieced embroidered linen outer border surrounding the elaborate hand embroidered center panel. Lace on this piece includes hand made Valenciennes and hand made filet. The entire piece is assembled by hand. The outer frill is damaged but not beyond use (and thankfully does not detract!), and the plain net back has a snag or two...the worst of both of these is shown below. Creamy white lace and net will mix nicely with your other vintage net lace pieces. An absolutely delightful confection...Excellent condition except for the frill, freshly laundered and pressed. c.1890's - 1910. 16" inside plus 2.25" lace
