Antique homespun linen pillowcases are beautifully finished with a deep row of lovely Venetian drawnwork. Nubby homespun linen is heavy weight and sprinkled with woven-in bits of flax and occasional darker threads. Absolutely perfect for your country French chateau or Cottage chic summer home on the lake...or?? Lapped side seams are finished by machine with tiny tight stitches that will last another lifetime. Cream to natural color, shown below may lighten a bit more in the wash, though these have been soaked and pressed by me. They are in excellent condition. c.1870's - 1910 20.75" X 30"
