Crisp and ever-so white antique linen shams are heavy weight and made to last. Each bears a script double monogram and embroidered, "TG" and is finished with hand made linen Cluny lace. The backs close with double buttonholes that were once secured with fabric or ivory shanks similar to cuff links. These are long gone...but you can easily secure them with a couple of satin ribbons threaded through and tied. Heavy weight linen will last through two more centuries with loving care. Sunglasses are in order when the package arrives as they are exceptionally white! Yummy... Freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent condition. c.1890 - 1915. 31.5" wide X 34" high
