Vintage Cotton European Shams with Drawn Work

Large Continental style European shams of crisp whitest white cotton (forgive the dark photos, it was a very rainy day!) are finished with drawn work and needlelace corners. They are just off square, as was common with pieces of this kind. A wee bit of age, shown below, will launder. One corner has frayed and could be repaired or ignored, also shown. In otherwise excellent condition, freshly laundered and pressed. c.192o's- 1950's 29.5" X 30.5"
