Hand Embroidered Details -- Sunflowers!!!

If you love hot pink.....this piece has it all! The deep 22" ruffles of drapey, satiny acetate will accommodate taller beds, as shown below. The cream satin center with its abundant display of embroidered, stylized sunflowers is a show stopper. It is trimmed with hot pink piping where it meets the ruffle for a finished, tailored look. The patterns are done by machine and then enhanced with hot pink hand embroidered details. This was originally offered as a high quality piece in the late 50's or possibly early 60's, but it would easily fit a period 30's or 40's room. I found only one or two little pulls in the work, shown below....hard to find....This is an exceptional piece perfectly sized for a double or full sized bed. Offered in clean condition, as found.
