Antique Vegetable Dyed Shawl

I imagine this exceptional piece running lazily down the center of a primitive table with a centerpiece wooden bowl of green apples and pinecones...... Vegetable dyed and hand woven of wool, this antique shawl dates from mid-19th century or earlier and is in remarkable condition. The color is a vibrant mustard yellow with dark "stripes" of a natural gray wool running the length. It is thick and plush, but rough as minimally processed wool is... an absolutely perfect primitive textile. Excellent condition, as found. 22" X 72" including fringes.
