Absolutely gorgeous fine white linen Appenzell sheet is finished with a professionally designed and perfectly hand embroidered monogram "MTC". Finest wet spun antique linen (woven the old fashioned way...) is gloriously embroidered in the Appenzell style with a detailed ribbon border and a large central overflowing basket. Repairs at the bottom of the sheet, shown below, can easily be overlooked for such a rare and beautiful piece. Offered as found, in excellent vintage condition with noted flaws. c.1900 -- 1920 72" X 104"
