Gorgeous and perky antique cotton Matelasse with a jeweled Edwardian border and frothy floral sprays is gloriously finished with deep hand crocheted lace of love birds and hearts. Oh, my goodness! I imagine this was made for a special bride's trousseau...it appears to have been rarely used but has a line of wear that has been modestly repaired and barely shows, seen below. The lace will take your breath away....ever-so romantic and feminine, and large enough for your queen bed. One of a kind....amazing!
