Classic antique French linen sheet drips with linen Cluny lace, a Venetian drawn work border and heavenly monogram, "PP". The lace is sturdy and hand made of creamy white linen floss -- the best of the style -- and rounds the corners to form a lengthy turndown. The beautiful monogram is hand embroidered and padded in the French "Rembourré" style, demonstrating exceptional skill in both design and execution. It seems she might have changed her mind as the "shadow" of a previous monogram can be seen beneath this one, shown below. The supple creamy white antique linen has a few small age spots, shown below. These will likely launder out the next time through. A tiny 2mm can be forgiven and will not pose a problem unless you plan to wrestle Gangues Khan in your bed. (On a more personal note, should there be a wrestler or two out there, perhaps this antique lace sheet should be turned back before the match commences?...just a thought.) If you love lace and you are a "P", well, can you resist??....a sheet worthy of the finest trousseau....Yours?? Oh my!! Freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent condition for it's age, as shown. Sheet is 88" X 114" plus 5.5" Cluny lace. Monogram is 5" X 5.5". Turndown is 23"
