Soft, pure linen antique French sheet is fabulously monogrammed and richly embroidered "EC" in grand medallion style. The embroidery includes seed stitching and satin stitches that are deeply padded and layered forming a three dimensional and highly durable monogram. Geometric flourishes in the surrounding medallion are in classic French style....The cream linen is smooth, and drapey and cool to the touch, wet and hand spun linen that has a feel to it that can not be duplicated in today's linen market. The deeply lapped hem is finished by hand with a smart row of Venetian drawn work. Freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent condition. c.1900 81" X 116
