Every so often something comes along that takes my breath away... This definitely stopped me in my tracks! Lily of the Valley and Fleur de lis form the central panel of this marvelous antique Victorian coverlet. White linen and cotton blend, it is crisp and cool to touch and ever-so perky -- a joy to handle and to photograph!
The center panel is surrounded by the classic repeating pattern of evenly spaced posies all the way around. A bit of fray on one corner and edge, shown below, is the only flaw. White and bright as the day it was made. Freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent condition. c.1890 76" X 84"
