Finest linen lawn is masterfully embroidered with butterflies, roses, moths and daisies. The enormous triple monogram "NMA" is professionally designed and hand applied with satin stitches and Appenzell type seed stitching. In each corner and beneath the monogram are pulled lace embroidered butterflies or moths with their wings fully extended. The entire perimeter is surrounded with little moths and rose buds...The white linen lawn is of the finest weave in a light to medium weight. There are a few little picks in the cloth above the butterfly in one corner, shown below. Perfectly beautiful...a marvelous piece for the monogram collector! Freshly laundered and pressed, in excellent condition. c.1900 33" X 33"
