Gorgeous antique linen damask tablecloth is adorned with an early Victorian antique red cross stitch turkey red monogram "RB". The heavy creamy white linen is woven in a geometric style that is reminiscent of the heavy wool woven coverlets of the same origin and period. This piece would have been considered dinner size to be used at evening meal. The monogram is exquisite...appropriately faded for it's age. Creamy white linen has one small darn and a tiny "slub-drop" hole in the monogram that is hardly noticed, both shown below. Spotless and excellent condition as described, freshly laundered and pressed. c.1860's - 80's 68" X 94"
