Appenzell embroidered urns are spilling over with flowers in the center border of this white linen lawn antique tablecloth. The extraordinary hand work is clearly Swiss Appenzell with it s lobed flowerets , pulled lace and classic embroidery elements. Ever-so white linen lawn is medium weight and drapey and soft. The hand embroidered monogram "FPJ" or "T" is featured at one end and would have been placed at the head of the table. This is a stunning piece of the best quality. It is finished with layered scallops and a polka dot embroidered swag. Perfect! Breathtaking...Excellent condition, freshly laundered and pressed. c.1900 - 1920 71" X 91" monogram 7.75" X 5.75"
